Step 2: Diet

  • In order to show a nice set of six pack abs on your body you have to pay attention to what’s going on in the kitchen.
  • This means being conscientious about what you are putting in your body and shopping for at the grocery store.
  • Depending on the amount of body fat you currently have, it can take anywhere from 2 weeks to as much as a year for any ab definition to show on you.
  • For those of you who have a lot of fat on you at the moment, this will be a hard fight for you, but a fight you can win if you are willing to take control of your habits.
  • No matter how much body fat you are currently wearing, if you are on a mission to show Healthy food for abssexy abs on your body you will need to eat and drink right.
  • Water and black coffee are going to be your beverage companions on this mission.
  • By now you should know that any beverages with sugar in them are killing you slowly and preventing you from looking sexy.

Six Pack Abs Diet

  • In order for muscle to show on your body you must pay attention to protein, carbs, fats, and micronutrients.
  • Protein is the building block to muscle growth.
  • Carbs are like basic fuel for your body. Fats (healthy fats) support organ and joint health, and repair tissue in the body.
  • Micronutrients are basically the super healthy stuff that keeps your immune system functioning well like leafy greens, vegetables, fruit etc.

  • For instance, brown rice is primarily a source of complex carbohydrates but you can often find around 4-5g of protein in a serving.
  • Lentils are a significant source of complex carbohydrates and fiber, but you can get around 6g of protein in a serving.
  • Depending on how lean you are trying to get, the ways in which you choose to get your nutrients are up to you.
  • Typically, for someone wanting ripped abs, they will need to eat a low carbohydrate, moderate fat, high protein diet.
  • I know it sounds counter-intuitive to eat fats when you are trying to shed fat, but healthy fat sources are advantageous to your goal of having ripped abs.
  • For example a serving of peanut butter as a snack can keep your metabolism going as well as smash your cravings to eat excessively.

Closing Thoughts On Diet

  • No matter your diet, you will need to be in a caloric deficit, eating high protein, low carb, and getting plenty of micronutrients.

SIX Workouts Designed To Get Your SIX Pack Abs To Show

I’ve developed a simple, but powerful workout routine to get you started. The workout is broken down into 6 versions:

  • Light Beginner: Walk 1 mile, 10 knee push-ups, 5 lunges, 5 body weight squats, 10 assisted pull-ups (feet on ground), 3 Bosu Ball sit-ups
  • Beginner: Jog quarter mile, 5 push-ups, 8 lunges, 8 body weight squats, 3 pull-ups, 5 Bosu Ball sit-ups
  • Light intermediate: Jog half mile, 10 push-ups, 10 lunges, 10 body weight squats, 5 pull-ups, 5 dips, 10 Bosu Ball sit-ups
  • Intermediate (Ripped): Jog 1 mile, 15 push-ups, 15 lunges, 15 body weight squats, 8 pull-ups, 8 dips, 12 Bosu Ball sit-ups
  • Light advanced: Jog 2 miles, 20 push-ups, 15 lunges, 25 body weight squats, 10 pull ups, 10 dips, 15 Bosu Ball sit-ups
  • Advanced (SHREDDED): Jog 5k (3.1 mi), 30 push-ups, 15 lunges, 25 body weight squats, 8 single leg squats, 12 pull ups, 12 dips, 20 Bosu Ball sit-ups

Each exercise excluding walking and jogging, is to be done with 3 sets.

I’m including a lot of cardio in this workout because running helps you stay lean and is a great health booster.

By the time you can complete the intermediate version along with the proper diet, you will have a nice set of abs to show.

Why You Don’t Need A Gym Membership

  1. All of the Abs-Six exercises can be done at home.
  2. What you will need to make this happen is a good set-up at home.
  3. What I use are the Weider Power Tower and the Bosu Balance Trainer.
  4.  Save hundreds of dollars that could get spent on a gym membership.
  5. I can’t recommend a gym membership to you unless you have no space to put this equipment.
  6. I’ve been using both the Weider Power Tower and the Bosu Ball for three years now. I have them both set up in my garage, but you can set them up anywhere in your home that’s safe for it.
  7. I fully believe that this combination of equipment is a super effective way to get your training in.
