How to Get Hot Abs
It seems everyone wants to know how to get hot abs. People see athletes and entertainers with perfect hot abs and dream of having a six pack or washer board stomach of their own. Having amazing abs doesn’t have to be a fantasy. With dedication and hard work, you can have firm and well-defined abdominal muscles, too.
1. Set a goal. Hang a motivational picture of someone with the type of abs that you desire near your mirror. When you look in the mirror, visualize the abs in the picture on yourself. Also, you may want to take a picture of your stomach and hang it near the other picture. Each week, as your abs become more defined, you can take a new picture and replace the previous one. The photographs will track your progress toward your goal of learning how to get hot abs.
2. Change your diet. People who know how to get great hot abs will tell you to take in less calories than you burn to improve your abs. Also, you should eliminate junk food and sugary foods from your diet. Eat fresh fruit and raw vegetables such as apples, strawberries, carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli instead. Avoiding refined carbohydrates or any foods made from white flour will help when eating to improve your abs. You should decrease your fat intake and increase your proteins, so eliminate or limit dairy, pork, and beef products, but eat fish and chicken. Also, whenever possible, prepare your own meals using fresh and non-processed foods. Don’t forget to drink eight to ten ounces of water at least eight times a day as you work to tone your new hot abs.
3. Develop a regular aerobic exercise routine. At least three days a week do some type of aerobics exercise for at least 15 minutes. Swimming, walking, jogging, and dancing are just a few exercise options to get your body moving and your heart pumping. Before pursuing any exercise program, however, it’s important to check with your doctor.
4. Exercise your abdominal muscles. Learning how to get great abs involves doing abdominal toning exercises as well as aerobic exercises. Sit-ups are one basic toning exercise that you can do anywhere. When doing sit-ups, rest on your back, bend your legs, flatten your feet and heels on the floor, and fold your arms across your stomach or chest. You can place your hands on opposite shoulders, too. Slowly, raise your head and shoulders up about half-way from the floor and hold the position for a few seconds. Then lower your upper body close to the floor but don’t place your entire back down. While doing your sit-ups, focus on strengthening your abdominal muscles. Many other exercises exist that will help tone your hot abs, so don’t limit yourself to doing just sit-ups.
After following these basic tips for several weeks, your stomach should look and feel differently. As you stay committed to toning your abs, you’ll continue to make progress toward your goal. Before you know it, people will want to know how to get hot abs like yours.
